Entry requirements:
Candidates will usually have achieved 400 hours of school/youth work over the past 2 years. Three references will be taken (personal, employers, and experience in youth/schools work) and a current CRB enhanced disclosure or ISA Registration is required to enrol. Academic entry requirements are 120 UCAS points, an appropriate access qualification or evidence of equivalent prior learning
Exit possibilities:
People seeking to become a qualified youth worker and have the knowledge and skills to work alongside other education professionals in schools, colleges and educational establishments for young people (aged 11 – 25). Such as, a youth worker based in a school, a worker or manager for a Christian schools work organisation, a lay worker for a school chaplaincy
