Christian Youth Work Training

Issue based and short courses

thirtyone:eight (previously Churches Child Protection Advisory Service [CCPAS])

thirtyone:eight (previously Churches Child Protection Advisory Service [CCPAS]) is the only independent Christian charity providing professional advice, CRB checks, support, training and resources in all areas of safeguarding children and for those affected by abuse.
Our services are used not only by churches and groups across the denominational spectrum, but increasingly by other faiths as well as non-faith based organisations keen to utilise the resources and expertise we offer. We also give advice to Children’s Services Departments, Police and other agencies across the UK.

WTC (Theology) - Graduate Diploma in Kingdom Theology and Student Ministry

This course is designed for Student Workers who want to invest in their personal spiritual walk with Jesus and to grow in their knowledge, love of and maturity in Student Ministry. An exciting collaboration between WTC and Fusion, this course combines WTC’s excellence in academic, Spirit-filled theological teaching and Fusion’s experience in practical Student Ministry training. This programme aims to equip people with the skills and theological grounding to outwork their calling and grow as professional practitioners in Student Ministry. This two year part-time programme offers foundational modules in Biblical Studies, Church History, Spirituality, and Christian Beliefs. Students then build on these foundations in Year 2 of study with modules in spiritual formation and mission, church and student culture, maturing a student ministry, and professional formation.
