Entry requirements:
Students will need to already be employed in the field of youth work/ministry/school chaplaincy (paid or voluntary).

Due to the nature of the work being undertaken, students will work closely with young people and Maryvale is committed to ensuring the safeguarding of all students and those whom they work and study alongside. All applicants are required to have an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) Certificate. Arrangements for DBS checks should be made through your employer / voluntary organisation, but Maryale will require sight of your certificate on application to the programme and will keep record of the certificate details until your completion of the programme. You are required to submit a copy of your DBS certificate with your application and, if your application is successful, bring your hard copy with you to your first residential, to be viewed and recorded by a member of the programme team.
