Working with local churches and nearby Moorlands College, we offer an apprenticeship type scheme called our ‘Youthwork Degree Programme’ or ‘YDP’.
This programme offers an exciting and rewarding way to train and work alongside the Isle of Wight Youth for Christ team over a three year period, whilst earning JNC endorsed accredited degree (BA Hons) in Applied Theology and Youth and Community work.
Students receive funding towards their Moorlands fees, free accommodation and meals for three years as well as travel expenses and extra training. So far, six students have completed the programme with us and all have gone on to full time youth ministry!
