Mode and duration:
A one year programme commencing in Sep24 and alternate years. A number of training sessions from September to June (depending on which location you chose). 6 written assignments to complete of 1,000 - 1,500 words each.

Exit possibilities:
Students can go on to study degree courses at Cliff College and other establishments in youth and/or children's ministry

Our Aurora courses are updated each year with new content, and reviewed and moderated by Ian White of Cliff College. Although our certificates are not nationally accredited, we hold a high standard in all our training and believe the courses are comparable to other accredited courses on offer, for an affordable price.

      Godly Play and story-telling
      Messy Church (crafts and games)
      Creative prayer
      Drama and play

  Inclusive Ministry

Module 3
  Children in the Church
      All age (inter-generational) worship
      Toddlers (new)
  Schools – making connections, building relationships
  Programme planning
  Planning for change in the church
  Making teams work (safer recruiting, supervision and training)
  Legal: Child protection policies, safeguarding, risk assessment and insurance

Extra Notes:

Due to low numbers, Aurora will not be running in Yorkshire during the academic year 2023-24 but is planning to resume in September 2024.  Currently the Youth Work course is running in Southwark
