Nazarene ~ MA Community Development
This programme offers you the opportunity to enjoy a unique learning experience where teachers and fellow learners explore crucial issues of our time. You will draw on insights and traditions of theology and community development to develop a deep and grounded analysis of the world, in order to engage in its transformation. Together, we will explore concepts such as Shalom as a way of understanding what individual, community and societal justice might look like.
You will have the opportunity to explore new ways to re-see and reimagine your world and your relationship to it. In doing so, you will develop approaches that help others to re-see and reimagine their own worlds. This is the foundation for real and sustained social change

Oak Hill College - Growing Faith | Children’s, Youth & Families
What place should children and young people have in the life of the church? How do we reach, disciple children and young people and include them amongst God’s people? This module moves from understanding to engagement. Students will evaluate various historical and contemporary models for such ministry and reflect upon their own ‘inherited’ patterns of practice with a view to gaining practical, biblical and theological strategies for engaging effectively with children, youth and families in church, school and community contexts.
This module will begin to generously listen to other models of ministry to learn how they can critique, inform and improve our work with young people, children and families.
