Tilseley College ~ Certificate of Higher Education in Biblical Studies and Christian Ministry
The “Training for Service” one-year Certificate programme gives a broad foundation in biblical studies, theology and ministry, Along with classroom studies, the Certificate programme includes a cross-cultural trip, a week spent working in a team with a UK church and a six-week placement at home or abroad tailored to the student’s interests.
The Certificate programme is offered as either a stand-alone year or as part of the Diploma and Baccalaureate programmes.
Tilseley College ~ Diploma of Higher Education in Biblical Studies and Christian Ministry
The first year of this two-year programme is the same as the Certificate programme. The second year is a mix of time spent in ministry apprenticeship with a local church or mission organisation and intensive residential teaching weeks. The programme provides a bridge into full-time Christian ministry, both in the UK and abroad.
Tilsley College - Short programmes
Tilsley College offers two short stand-alone programmes - ‘Foundations in Bible and Mission’ (16 weeks) and ‘Growing in Leadership and Ministry’ (14 weeks). These start in September and March respectively. While these programmes are suited to international students who can study with us for up to six months on a Standard Visitor visa, and they are also available to UK students.
Tilsley College ~ European Baccalaureate in Biblical Studies and Christian Ministry
The first two years of this three-year full-time programme are the same as the Certificate and Diploma programmes. The third year is a mix of time spent in ministry apprenticeship with a local church or mission organisation and intensive residential teaching weeks. The programme provides a bridge into full-time Christian ministry, both in the UK and abroad. Completion of this programme provides training equivalent to a vocational Bachelor’s degree.
