About St Mellitus College

Covid 19 Notes:

St Mellitus College is looking forward to welcoming new and returning students back in September 2021 with an expected return to face-to-face teaching in line with the Government roadmap. We will continue to monitor Government guidance and alongside a return to in-person teaching at our London centre we will ensure that, for those who are unable to travel or are required to isolate, a blend of video resources, streamed lectures and other online learning resources will be available. Over the last twelve months we have managed the move to remote learning, enhancing our available online learning support and resources to maintain the excellence in teaching that saw us become the first theological college awarded the TEF (Teaching Excellence Framework) Gold Award in 2019. Should there be a need to change any of our current plans for September in the light of Government policy any changes will be communicated to new and returning students as soon as is possible.

St Mellitus ~ BA (Hons) Theology and Youth Ministry

St Mellitus College offers a degree in Theology and Youth Ministry in partnership with a variety of organisations and churches that provide student placements for duration of the programme. It is a three-year full-time context-based programme, integrating theology with practical youth ministry experience in placement. Each week students split their time between teaching at St Mellitus’ London centre in Earl’s Court, private study and placement work meaning they are bringing together their academic study and practical experience from the outset and throughout their studies. The degree is validated by Middlesex University.
