Over 30 years experience equipping youth workers to talk about relationships and sex

Our RSE training course equips participants to:
Support young people in building self-esteem
Support young people in developing healthy relationships
Develop confidence in talking openly and sensitively about sexual health issues
Support young people to develop skills and resilience to deal with the influence and impact of modern technology on relationships and sex (including porn)
Communicate to young people the importance of making healthy life choices about sex
Plan and deliver effective, fun and interactive sessions with young people
Apply best practice and recommended government policy guidelines
Once trained, participants will have the opportunity to become members of the Esteem network of educators giving them access to ALL our RSE resources, activities games and lesson plans.
Working with the Open College Network, acet UK can provide trainees on the accredited course with the opportunity to achieve an accredited level 4 award, ‘Teaching relationships and sex education’. This award is designed for new RSE educators to help support their development and demonstrate their capabilities in the field of RSE. Completion of this level 4 credit award requires learners to complete two small assignments based upon the Esteem training and is subject to a formal assessment. If you would like to find out more about this accredited award, please email us at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or get in contact via the contact form on the website. https://www.acet-uk.com
Online training doesn’t mean it is completely virtual. To assist with your learning we post out a pack of physical resources to use during the training. The exact content may vary between each course but we aim to provide you with example objects and resources to help bring online learning to life. Some of the pack is made of physical resources you can buy in our online store and other bits are exclusives for the online training.
Technical requirements for learners to attend include needing a computer, a webcam, with access to Zoom, or a phone or tablet with the same capability. You can learn more about the free video conferencing software zoom and can sign up to, for free, at https://zoom.us/. If you are a first-time user of Zoom, we encourage you to have a practice with the service before the course.
