Courses from Oak Hill College

Oak Hill College - CertHE, DipHE and BA(Hons) in Theology, Ministry and Mission

Our core undergraduate prorgammes provide a broad and deep understanding of Christian theology applied for ministry and mission. We are committed to training people for youth and children’s ministry, as well as other spheres of ministry.

Oak Hill College - Foundation Award in Theology, Ministry and Mission

The Foundation Award in Theology, Ministry and Mission is a validated, affordable and flexible course providing an introduction to theological study. Students can use it as a stepping stone into further study, with credits counting towards future programmes. Operating online, you can take it whenever it suits you and wherever you are. Students study three 10-week modules a year with a time commitment of 8-10 hours per week.

Oak Hill College - Growing Faith | Children’s, Youth & Families

What place should children and young people have in the life of the church? How do we reach, disciple children and young people and include them amongst God’s people? This module moves from understanding to engagement.‍ Students will evaluate various historical and contemporary models for such ministry and reflect upon their own ‘inherited’ patterns of practice with a view to gaining practical, biblical and theological strategies for engaging effectively with children, youth and families in church, school and community contexts.
This module will begin to generously listen to other models of ministry to learn how they can critique, inform and improve our work with young people, children and families.
