The Theology and Worship Studies (TWS) programme at LST is the only programme in Europe that fully integrates worship studies with theology. It’s designed for students who want to grow in their understanding of Christian worship and develop practical music skills for use in church and beyond.

The BA Theology and Worship Studies, (TWS) programme is aimed at those with a keen interest in music and worship ministry who desire to develop their knowledge and practice as wise and knowledgeable practitioners. This programme is designed to resource worshippers and worship leaders with an emphasis on the three P’s – personal, pastoral, prophetic. The TWS programme aims to produce graduates who have grown in their personal worship and faith, who are committed in pastoral love to the local church, and who can prophetically handle God’s Word.

Graduates from the TWS course and its previous versions over the last 25 years have gone on to be professional musicians, singer/songwriters, music teachers, BBC technicians, composers, audio engineers, AV installation managers, school teachers, concert promoters, academic research, website designers, opera singers, video editors, worship ministers, pastors, youth workers and more!
