LST ~ BA (Hons) Theology
The church needs Christians who have thought through the implications of their faith and can relate it incisively, relevantly and practically to society. The LST Theology programme is academically rigorous but also addresses the changing cultural and intellectual climate. It is a dynamic and innovative programme that does not neglect key foundational principles of an evangelical faith.
LST ~ BA (Hons) Theology and Counselling
LST has a vision to see Christian counsellors who are both theologically articulate and professionally trained and this need is met through our integrated theology and counselling programme.
The college is privileged to be the only institution in the United Kingdom offering this unique course called ‘Theology and Counselling’, a joint-honours degree programme combining studies in Theology and training in Counselling. The conviction behind our vision for the course is that Christian counselling needs to be solidly based on the Bible and theology - and vice versa - that our understanding of the Bible and of theology deepens as we become equipped, as interpreters, with the insights that counselling gives.
LST ~ BA (Hons) Theology, Music & Worship
LST offers two integrated undergraduate honours degree programmes - the only ones of their kind in Europe. As well as a substantial core programme of theological studies they offer a wide range of music and worship modules – including a Youth & Worship intensive which has lecturers from Soul Survivor.
We believe in pursuing excellence in music and that students should undertake to achieve the highest
attainable level as appropriate to their starting point. We are committed to equipping confident, theologically aware and spiritually attuned worship designers, facilitators, music directors and leaders of music worship, to serve effectively in the local church and elsewhere, and to train and release others in ministry.
