Youthscape Essentials (YSE) is all-round training for every volunteer youth leader. The 10 session course features insights into youth culture, practical skills to build confidence and reflections to deepen faith.
Youthscape offers the course online for £50. The licence model enables others to use the versatile material and resources to host the course within their own context; either online or in person.
Resources are designed to equip volunteers for youth ministry, giving them the skills and necessary knowledge to work with young people, in addition to the space to develop their individual character. Participants learn alongside one another, growing in confidence to rethink youth ministry, inspired by informed professionals,
Online courses begin in January, April and September. Each Youthscape Essentials session is two hours long and is open to those new to volunteering. The interactive material is also deep enough to stretch paid youth workers and those wanting to refresh their ministry.

Youthscape LAUNCHPAD - getting your youth work off the ground
Launchpad is an informed, practical and hopeful project that teaches church leaders how they can initiate youth work in their church.
The course is designed to give church leaders the insights, strategies and confidence they need to start youth work from scratch, taking small steps toward beginning some form of youth ministry. Piloted with the Capital Youth programme in the Diocese of London (in 2017), more than 500 clergy have now completed the course across 18 dioceses.
Over five two-hour sessions, Launchpad offers expert, insightful teaching on youth culture, case studies of different types of youth work, and guidance on how to build a team of volunteers. Participants complete simple exercises that build into a concrete strategy.
Partnering with individual dioceses, Launchpad works with expert Facilitators to offer coaching to clergy, helping them to see possibilities that arise through innovation, informed strategy, and a renewed vision for youth work. The focus is on discipleship and creating spaces which nurture spiritual growth, not just on growing numbers.
A sixth session provides the chance for the wider church to then engage with the project and find the confidence and momentum to put a strategy into action.
Contact the Launchpad Team to find out if Launchpad is available in your region.
