thirtyone:eight (previously Churches Child Protection Advisory Service [CCPAS])

thirtyone:eight (previously Churches Child Protection Advisory Service [CCPAS]) is the only independent Christian charity providing professional advice, CRB checks, support, training and resources in all areas of safeguarding children and for those affected by abuse.
Our services are used not only by churches and groups across the denominational spectrum, but increasingly by other faiths as well as non-faith based organisations keen to utilise the resources and expertise we offer. We also give advice to Children’s Services Departments, Police and other agencies across the UK.

Youth Ministry in a Rural Context

** BOOK BEFORE 31/12/24 FOR A £50 EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT **

Join us for our first ‘Youth Ministry’ course. Drawing on 25 years experience working with young people in a variety of contexts, and an MA in Mission with a youth specialism, Bob will help us to explore the theology, the cultural landscape, and what simple steps every church can make to become more inclusive, accessible and engaging for young people within their communities.

The course will also be presented by special guests from across the youth ministry field, and will leave you feeling equipped and inspired to see communities transformed, and young people coming to know Jesus.

Starting at 10.30am on Tuesday, May 13th, and concluding at 3.30 pm on Thursday, May 15th, there will be teaching, worship, and prayer, as well as a chance to gather with like-minded people at the wonderful Yarnfield Park in Stone.

The course fees of £300 cover your accommodation, food and refreshments, and all course materials.
